About
Carrie joined DPC following a 25-year career as a learning and development executive working primarily in Insurance & Retirement Sales and Operations and, most recently, with a large P&C Claims Operations team. The beauty of her career to date is that she continues to learn in every role with each team she has led, and with each company she has been a part of. She considers it a gift. She is particularly passionate about meeting learners / coachees where they are and unlocking their passion for growth and further capitalizing on all of their skills.
As an executive, her responsibilities ranged across all aspects of Talent Management:
– Sourcing, recruiting, behavior-based interviewing and effective use of role-specific selection tools
– Learning design and development for new hires, frontline employees in sales and operational areas, first time, mid- and executive management
– Recognition programming as part of concerted employee retention strategies
– Organizational design and effectiveness, high performing teams, talent assessment and succession planning + Coaching and Mentorship, 1:1, small cohort-based and within large programs and organizations
Recent Accomplishments include -Migrating and transforming highly-customized, instructor-led (ILT) programs supported by 120 digital assets to a new LMS platform. Growing digital offerings by 300% to 550+ on-demand digital courses and expanding ILT programs from 60 to ~185 within 2 years, Increasing learner consumption hours from 350K annually to a forecasted 1M+ over 3 years with 100K hours of digital learning in her former organization, reinventing a stagnant mentorship program through a partnership with the award-winning Chronus platform, and providing mentorship opportunities for 7K employees. The program is now a model for business-specific mentoring across the company.
Carrie Transformed a single product sales distribution system into a full-service financial planning organization with a previous company, trained 42 Career General Agents and their managers in recruiting, selecting, and developing new team members and retrained 2K+ captive life insurance agents. She created dozens of new product learning and compliance programs, most requiring FINRA licensing to complete this overhaul.
