Steven Galing, CPBC

Steve is a problem solver with over 39 years of experience as a Resource Manager, Operations Research Analyst, Finance Operations Officer, Budget Officer, and wealth planner. He served for over 27 years as an Army officer in the Finance Corps, retiring as a colonel. He also worked for the Undersecretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness, Military Personnel Policy, as the Deputy Director, Military Compensation Policy and as the Lead Analyst in the Analytical Directorate. After retiring from Civil Service, he worked for over 2 years as a Senior Relationship Manager, American Armed Forces Mutual Aid Association, Wealth Management and Trust, leading a team and providing wealth planning advice. He is an adjunct professional in the Certified Leadership Fellowship, The American College of Financial Services. His coaching strengths include leadership, strategic planning, personnel management, and statistical analysis.

Steve has been married for over 41 years, and has 2 adult children and 3 grandchildren. He is an avid golfer, winning numerous championships. Highlights in 2021 include qualifying for the U.S. Senior Amateur Championship and the Veterans Golf Association National Championship. He has been the varsity golf coach at Trinity Christian School for 8 years. He has served in a variety of volunteer leadership positions including 4 years as president, 6 years as vice president, 2 years in outreach ministry, and 2 years as property manager at Living Savior Lutheran Church, Fairfax Station, VA.
