About
J. Glynn was born in St. Paul, Minnesota. As a military dependent, J. moved to many locations throughout the United States. While in New York attending the last couple of years of high school, J. decided to move as far away from the cold weather as possible. He attended college in sunny Florida on an ROTC scholarship. J. is a graduate of the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Finance.
After graduating from the University of Florida, J. was commissioned as an officer in the United States Army where he served twenty years on active duty as a finance officer and comptroller. While in the military, J. continued his education by earning a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Troy University. After retiring, J. started his civilian career by pursuing his passion in the financial industry. With his military background encompassing a wide range of leadership skills and experiences, J.’s strong leadership skills and team building performance were easily recognized. J. was designated as the (ATL) Advisor Team Leader in his region. During his years in the financial industry, J. has recruited, trained, and mentored advisors. J. is currently a financial services expert with over fourteen years of experience. Today, he is a Financial Advisor and Branch Manager with Cambridge Investments in Tampa, Florida.
As a fiduciary Cambridge Advisor, J. is committed to helping his clients pursue their financial goals. The relationships with each individual and family he serves are key to his success. He takes pride in knowing that the clients he has served are now referring their next generation family members to start their own path in achieving financial independence with his guidance. J. is passionate about his clients and their financial well-being as well as continuing to grow his branch by recruiting and leading financial advisors.
J. and his wife, Zak, have two children, Jeffrey and Matthew. Both boys attend universities in Florida. In his spare time, J. enjoys spending time with his family and friends, attending football games, traveling, and being outdoors with his dog, Talon.
