Eric Wojtkun, BS, MS, CPBC
Eric Wojtkun is an executive coach and strategic advisor, a former Army infantry officer, and a retired FBI agent with over 34 years of combined federal service.
Eric served as a company grade infantry officer in Germany, Fort Campbell, and Fort Irwin. Deployments to Bosnia with IFOR (1996) and KFOR (2000) put his leadership skills to the test. His capstone assignment took him to Fort Irwin, where he served as an observer/controller — coaching, teaching, and mentoring company commanders across 20 rotations in the desert during high-intensity combat training.
As an FBI case agent, Eric initially served in a smaller resident agency in Gary, Indiana, working violent crime, white-collar, civil rights, crimes against children, and cyber cases. On transfer to Washington, DC, the FBI put him to work as a Crisis Management Coordinator for major cases and special events. He then moved into National Security, immersing himself in cyber agent work for two more years.
Eric was next promoted to Supervisor at the national-level Crisis Management Unit, where for two years he worked in program management and on the Fly Team, assisting field offices in need. This prepared him well for his next role as Crisis Management Supervisor for the Atlanta Field Office, with oversight of SWAT, Evidence Response, WMD, Crisis Negotiators, and Bomb Techs for statewide and regional responses.
Eric closed out the last ten years of his career in National Security. He first supervised an Atlanta Global Counterintelligence squad and built out a five-agency Counter Proliferation Strike Force, which earned the highest performance honors. He then returned to the nation's capital for tours as a Liaison Officer for the Counterintelligence Division, a Shift Supervisor at the National Counterterrorism Center, and finally as the Acting Senior FBI Official at the Pentagon, with personnel deployed worldwide.
He now shares these experiences through executive coaching, equipping leaders with the strategic focus, communication, leadership, management, and team-building skills to not just survive the daily grind, but thrive through adversity.
Eric and his wife, Carrie, reside with three of their six children in Lovettsville, Virginia. Their older three children have successfully launched into the world.
