Catherine “Cathie” Suchecki is the founder of Suchecki Strategies — a leadership coaching and strategic advisory firm built on a simple belief: Leaders don’t need more noise. They need clarity, courage, and someone who isn’t afraid to tell the truth.


After more than 34 years as a senior executive in financial services — including leadership roles at LPL Financial and Waddell & Reed — Cathie now partners with clients who want to grow in a way that is real, human, and strategically grounded. Her coaching style blends sharp insight with warm candor, helping clients move from overwhelm to clarity, from hesitation to courage, and from performance to purpose.


Throughout her career, Cathie has led large national teams, guided organizations through complex acquisitions, and coached top talent across various levels of leadership. She earned a reputation for her “attuned presence,” ability to see patterns quickly, and her unique skill in navigating the emotional and strategic sides of leadership simultaneously.


Her work is rooted in what she calls unscripted authenticity — leadership that is not performative, rehearsed, or hollow, but grounded in honesty, awareness, and a willingness to stretch. She helps leaders break old patterns, make stronger decisions, and lead with a clarity that elevates everyone around them.


Cathie is a Certified Professional Business Coach (CPBC). She holds FINRA Series 7 and Series 24 licenses, is a member of the Professional Business Coaches Alliance (PBCA), and is an affiliated coach with Diversified Professional Coaching (DPC). She also serves on a charitable board and actively supports several causes including breast cancer research, cystic fibrosis, Folds of Honor, and KCATC autism training center.
