General Work Experience
I have been working in the Learning & Development industry since 2002. I have experience in a variety of industries, fields, and contexts including textiles, flavours and fragrances, logistics, large and small-scale manufacturing, education, import/export, health and fitness, as well as several entities in the non-profit sector. My experience ranges from coaching to consulting to training and spans all levels of employees from owners/partners and managers to entry-level positions.

Consulting Experience
Involvement in and leadership of all phases of consulting projects including:
— First contact interface with the client, which includes the discussions to determine how we could help in problem-solving and crisis intervention
— Preliminary diagnosis and analysis of the problem and purpose of the project
— Contract development
— Deeper analysis of the issues using a wide range of diagnostic techniques
— Reporting and making recommendations
— Facilitating the implementation of action plans and proposals

Coaching Experience
I have had the privilege of coaching leaders from several industries, backgrounds, and situations on a variety of subjects including business effectiveness, leadership issues, personal effectiveness, family well-being, career change, nutrition, as well as academics.

The goal of coaching is for my clients to discover new things about themselves and take action to reshape their lives around that learning. The coaching relationship is expected to produce insights, greater personal awareness, changed behaviors, actions, and ultimately results that satisfy the client. Much is expected of my clients – to evaluate, reason, imagine, decide, and implement.

Training
My experience in the training industry has been in numerous contexts, in multiple languages (often with translation), alone as well as on a team, with learners from all levels of education and leadership responsibilities, and on various topics such as – leadership, entrepreneurship, communication, financial management, organizational behaviour, and personal effectiveness.
