About

Bob is a certified senior-level Executive Coach and management consultant with extensive experience in line management, executive coaching, management consulting, and Human Resources leadership. Throughout his career, he focused on improving the performance of leaders, teams, and organizations. His consulting expertise is in Executive Coaching, Talent Management, Change Management, Organization Design, and creating High Performing Teams.

As a coach to senior executives across the globe, Bob relies on his background as a military officer, line manufacturing leader, and Human Resources executive to identify with the challenges that leaders face every day. Beginning with an understanding and full appreciation for the business and culture in which his clients work, Bob brings a healthy level of pragmatism and practicality to his coaching work. Believing that a first step in improving performance is increasing one’s self-awareness, Bob uses a variety of validated assessments to help his clients to gain greater personal insights. As an executive coach, Bob is recognized for his ability to help executives to focus on the factors preventing them from achieving the performance they desire. In addition to his strong technical background and unique expertise in the people-aspects of Lean operations, his clients appreciate his engaging approach, his commitment to their success, his honesty, and his humor.

Bob specializes in coaching Senior Executive Teams to be more effective by helping them to analyze and improve their work processes and management routines. He assists them in making the transition from a group of talented functional executives to a true Executive team focused on delivering overall corporate goals.  For executives transitioning into new roles, he works with those leaders and their new teams to onboard the new leader and rapidly accelerates the performance of the team.

Throughout his 30-plus year career, Bob worked in line manufacturing roles at Procter & Gamble, Frito-Lay, and Inmed, where he was VP of Manufacturing.  In those roles, he led the design and implementation of high performing team organizations in over 60 manufacturing facilities across a dozen corporations.  Bob’s consulting practice focused on developing leaders, teams, and organizations through the creation of systems and processes to improve execution.  In addition to his work in the US, he consulted extensively with Fortune 50 clients in Latin America, South America, and Europe.  His consulting experiences range from creating high performing teams in the world’s largest copper mines in Chile and Peru, to starting-up automobile manufacturing operations in Mexico and Brazil, to acquiring and integrating a wind energy company in Germany, to the reorganization of a motion control equipment manufacturer in Sweden.

Bob held senior Human Resources roles as VP of Organization Development and Talent Management in such respected companies as Danaher, Cardinal Health, Celgene, and Nature’s Bounty.  In those organizations, he led the design and development of Change Management, Performance Management, Talent Management & Succession Planning, and High Potential Development programs. He taught MBA classes in those subjects at NYU and UCLA.

In addition, Bob is a combat military veteran, having served as a US Naval officer.
